Halo sits in the perfect sweet spot: an ultra-premium, 66 gsm paper that feels remarkably lightweight, yet remains structurally resilient enough to minimize heavy ghosting, feathering, and bleed-through.

It features a specialized barrier treatment that slows ink absorption, allowing wet inks to pool on the page. This is specifically engineered to reveal the full character of your inks, drawing out exceptional shading, chromashading, color separation, and vibrant metallic sheens.

Sitting just below Aura in pure smoothness, the soft-white, slightly satin finish offers a luxurious glide sensation with minimal drag. It is highly responsive and a true joy to use with everything from extra-fine nibs to broad, wet writers.

Because Halo holds ink near the surface, drying times will be longer than on more absorbent papers. However, the reward is vivid, true-to-color expression and an exceptionally smooth writing experience.

A note on materials: For this journal, we chose to protect the spine with real linen cloth rather than vinyl tape. While some gentle fraying may occur with regular use, it is completely normal. If you prefer a pristine appearance over the organic look, fabric sealants like Fray Check are perfectly safe to apply to the edges.
