1. What is the difference between each collection?

• Classic — Dependable inks for everyday writing. 60 ml.
• Studio — Elevated inks with complex color. 30 ml.
• Document — Pigmented inks. 30 ml.
• Lustrous — Sheening inks. 30 ml.
• Radiant — Shimmering inks. 30 ml.
• Reserve — Seasonal and limited-edition inks. 30 ml.

2. When do you restock sold-out inks or release new colors?

Restocks and new drops happen as batches are completed. Each ink is made in small quantities, so timing can vary. If a color is sold out, you can sign up for back-in-stock notifications on the product page to be alerted when it returns.

3. Are your inks fountain-pen safe? Will these inks stain my pen?

All of our inks are made for fountain pens! However, highly saturated inks and certain bright dyes can stain some plastics or converters. This is usually cosmetic and does not affect function. If you are concerned about staining, use a pen or converter you do not mind tinting, or test the ink in a pen that can be easily disassembled and cleaned.

4. Are shimmer inks and pigmented inks safe to use in fountain pens?

Yes, but they require a bit more maintenance. We recommend flushing and cleaning pens filled with these inks every 2–4 weeks.

• For Shimmer Inks (Radiant): These perform best in pens with moderate-to-wet flow and broader nibs. Gently roll the bottle before filling to mix settled shimmer. Move your pen regularly while writing to keep the shimmer suspended, and avoid finer nibs if you’re prone to clogs.
• For Pigmented Inks (Document): These require fountain pens with an air-tight seal (typically pens with a screw-on cap) so they do not dry out over time.

5. Are your inks waterproof?

Most of our inks are dye-based and are not fully waterproof. If an ink is water-resistant or fade-resistant, it will be clearly noted in the listing.

Our Document inks are pigmented with water and fade resistance. They also tend to perform better than most dye-based inks on certain papers.

As with most pigmented fountain pen inks, regular cleaning is important. We recommend using them in pens that seal well and cleaning the pen every 2–4 weeks.

6. Do inks look exactly like the photos/scans?

Ink appearance can vary depending on paper, nib size, pen flow, lighting, and screen settings. Because our inks are hand-blended in small batches, there may be slight batch-to-batch variation. Minor changes may also occur over time if a dye becomes unavailable and a formula must be adjusted.
